My First Big Contribution

Marketing for McArthur Law Firm

For my first job out of college, I had the opportunity to work on a team of eight writers tasked with developing a creative direction for an advertising partnership between Kathy McArthur, a respected lawyer in Macon, Georgia, and legendary boxer Evander Holyfield. During this project, I proposed the central idea of leveraging Holyfield’s famous nickname, "The Real Deal," to reinforce McArthur’s credibility and expertise by having him say, "Kathy McArthur is the Real Deal."

This concept not only aligned with Holyfield’s brand but also effectively communicated McArthur’s professionalism and trustworthiness, providing a memorable and impactful tagline for the campaign.
